Sustainable Vision
Building a sustainable future through eco-friendliness, health promotion, and community contribution
A bright future connected by eco, health, and community contribution
While placing importance on environmentally friendly manufacturing, we also focus on the health and welfare of the local community. For example, we are promoting initiatives to help elderly people stay healthy while having fun through activities such as health mahjong.
We also aim to create new employment opportunities in the region and provide a safe working environment for local people. We will continue to grow together with the community and strive for a future where everyone can smile.
Our Sustainable Vision
Contribution to the environment
This is an important initiative not only to protect the Earth, but also to ensure that all people can live in a richer and fairer society. The Taiyo Group is taking on the following challenges:
-
Promoting runnerless
In order to reduce waste during the manufacturing process, we actively introduce runnerless manufacturing.
This contributes to the efficient use of resources and the reduction of environmental impact. -
Ingenuity in product design
Efforts to reduce the weight of resin used.
We consider efficient use of resources from the design stage onwards and work to reduce the weight of our products.
Reduces material consumption during manufacturing. -
Producing joints from crushed runners
By crushing the used runners and reusing them as recycled materials,
We contribute to the realization of a resource-circulating society. -
Reusing school lunch trays and tableware
Some of the unused products are crushed and mixed with rubber chips to create surface culverts, which help improve the drainage of artificial turf grounds.
-
Making recycled tableware
PET bottles are collected from about 150 locations in Wakayama Prefecture, including elementary schools and PTAs, washed at local welfare facilities, and crushed at a crushing plant. The pelletized recycled materials are then sold as new tableware.
-
Regional contribution
In order to revitalize the local area, we participate in various events, interact with local residents, and work to preserve traditional culture.
In our hydroponic cultivation business, we are actively cultivating the Mazuma variety of wasabi, which has become increasingly rare in Wakayama, in order to repopularize it.
